Robert L. Emanuel is a partner with Emanuel & Dunn and has been practicing law in the state of North Carolina since his admission to the bar in 1951. His practice areas include general business matters, civil litigation and complex insurance issues. With 58 years of continuous practice, Mr. Emanuel provides invaluable experience and expertise to his clients.
Mr. Emanuel is admitted to practice in all North Carolina State Courts, as well as the United States District Court for the Eastern, Middle and Western Districts of North Carolina and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. He is a member of the North Carolina and Wake County Bar Associations.
In the course of his esteemed legal career, Mr. Emanuel has served as Chairman of the N.C. State Bar Judicial Selection Committee, as attorney with the North Carolina Attorney General and Solicitor of the Cary Recorder’s Court. He served on active duty in the U.S. Navy commencing during WW II in 1943 to retirement as a Lt. in 1947. Mr. Emanuel is a Raleigh native and a respected member of the community.
